Position Summary:

The Industry Recruiter – Technology is responsible for building and executing world-class technical search strategies that secure transformative technology professionals and leaders for Empower. This role drives the full lifecycle of technical recruitment, from proactive market mapping to precision closing strategies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI-driven insights. Acting as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, the recruiter combines elite sourcing craft, competitor intelligence, and structured assessment coaching to ensure Empower consistently hires technical professionals and leaders who advance its mission. With accountability for speed, precision, and impact, the recruiter maintains forward-looking technical pipelines, delivers actionable market intelligence, and ensures leadership hires are seamlessly integrated. Success is measured by the caliber of technical placed, velocity of execution, and the ability to anticipate and address organizational needs through innovation, foresight, and disciplined execution.

Strategic Technology Pipelining 

  • Build AI-enabled pipelines of world-class technology leaders aligned to Empower’s growth strategy. 
  • Continuously map and segment global talent across healthcare technology ecosystems. 
  • Cultivate long-term technical relationships to position Empower as an employer of choice. 

Market and Competitor Intelligence 

  • Use AI analytics to monitor competitor leadership shifts and emerging trends. 
  • Track ecosystem signals, including patents, funding, and board appointments. 
  • Deliver real-time, actionable intelligence briefings to Empower’s leadership. 

Coaching the Assessment Process 

  • Implement structured, AI-supported evaluation frameworks to ensure data-driven hiring. 
  • Prepare stakeholders to assess leadership, compliance, and cultural alignment rigorously. 
  • Facilitate calibrated decision-making that prevents bias and ensures strategic alignment. 

Offer Process and Closing Strategy 

  • Architect competitive offers that balance candidate motivation and compliance standards. 
  • Deploy AI-driven insights to personalize value propositions for technical candidates. 
  • Lead precise closing strategies that neutralize risks and secure commitments. 

Pre-Onboarding and Retention Enablement 

  • Design pre-onboarding plans before day one. 
  • Anticipate and resolve transition challenges, ensuring seamless integration. 
  • Maintain AI-tracked checkpoints to monitor engagement and accelerate retention. 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in technical recruitment, with mastery of AI-enabled sourcing, predictive analytics, and talent intelligence platforms to anticipate and secure transformative leadership hires. 
  • Strong capability in competitor and market intelligence, using data-driven methodologies to translate industry signals into actionable strategies for C-suite decision-making. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in structured assessments and behavioral frameworks that ensure consistent, bias-free, and future-ready technical evaluation processes. 
  • Advanced stakeholder management, with the ability to coach, influence, and advise C-suite leaders on complex hiring and organizational design decisions.  

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of senior – director recruiting experience in technology, consulting, or healthcare-adjacent industries. 
  • Proven track record in building pipelines and closing high-impact technical hires. 
  • Proficiency with AI recruitment platforms, talent intelligence, and structured assessment frameworks. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Exceptional discretion, technical presence, and advisory capability with senior leadership teams.
