What is your role at Empower? In your own words, what do you do?
I’ve worn a lot of hats.
Right now, I am working in clinic support. When I began at Empower, I was a dispensing tech, eventually moved to inventory coordinator, and did an unofficial stint as a trainer in charge of helping get a second shift off the ground.
What was your career path like before joining the team, and what made you want to join Empower?
I’ve worn lots of hats in my life, too. Before coming to pharmacy, I helped manage a small nature store.
I wanted to work at Empower because I believed in the mission: using compounded medication to help people have access to affordable hormone care.
What’s something about your job that most people wouldn’t expect?
I don’t think I would have expected the gratitude I receive from our clients for helping solve their problems.
What is your favorite part about working at Empower Pharmacy?
I am inspired every day to help people be the best version of themselves.
What is a proud moment or achievement you’ve had at Empower that has stayed with you?
Seeing the techs I trained doing well and advancing in their careers.
