To become a pharmaceutical sales representative at Empower, you’ll need to first find an opening and apply to the role. In addition to being highly skilled in relationship building, communication, and organization, applicants should possess a deep understanding of sales best practices, pharmacology, and industry regulations, as well as an eagerness to learn about our products and the world of compounding.
While many pharmacy technicians can be trained on the job, some states do require that you have a technician license before you begin training. This leg of the journey starts with an initial interview with a recruiter, followed by formal interviews with 3 to 5 colleagues, including the hiring manager.
The interviews may be 1-on-1 conversations or in a panel format. They usually take between 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the role and its complexity.
