  • R&D Liaison: Act as primary liaison between R&D and Supply Chain for reformulation execution, BOM management, and identification of new material requirements.
  • Reformulation Management: Own reformulation project execution from R&D handoff through implementation, coordinating BOM updates, supplier and material changes, and documentation to support a seamless transition to production.

BOM & Material Master Data Management

  • BOM Management: Own bill-of-materials creation, revisions, maintenance, and accuracy across the product portfolio, ensuring BOMs reflect current formulations, packaging, and sourcing requirements.
  • ERP Master Data Governance: Lead future ERP material master data management and governance, establishing data standards, ownership, and controls that ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Data Quality & Systems Readiness: Partner with IT, Quality, and Supply Chain to maintain clean, audit-ready material master data supporting planning, procurement, and compliance needs.

Portfolio And Discontinuation Planning

  • Portfolio Optimization: Support product portfolio optimization initiatives through collaboration with Sales and Finance, using structured analysis to support product rationalization decisions and align resources with business priorities.
  • Discontinuation Management: Own the cyclical product discontinuation planning and execution, coordinating Marketing, Sales, IT, Production, Pharmacy, and Quality to manage dependencies and implementation timelines.
  • S&OP Alignment: Facilitate weekly and monthly S&OP discussions, aligning Supply Chain, Production, and Quality around material changes, reformulation timing, and discontinuation priorities, capacity considerations, and timelines.

Team And Operational Leadership

  • Materials Leadership: Guide the Materials Management team during high-demand periods, supporting planning, forecasting, and master data decisions that maintain operational continuity and disciplined execution.
  • Decision Support: Use Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, project management tools, and approved AI capabilities to streamline workflow analysis, surface risks, and support timely lifecycle decisions.

  • Skilled in Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, Jira or Smartsheet, and Office applications for project tracking, analysis, reporting, and workflow coordination.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for chairing governance forums, aligning stakeholders, navigating complexity, and translating business priorities into executable lifecycle plans.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and material master data structures, with the ability to establish governance standards, data ownership, and quality controls.
