The Director operates as a critical partner to Sales and Finance, aligning compensation with revenue objectives, financial planning cycles, and operational capacity. Leveraging artificial intelligence, this leader automates validation, enhances forecasting accuracy, and enables predictive insights that inform executive decision making. The role requires balancing speed with control, growth with compliance, and incentives with real-world execution constraints. Success is defined by building a scalable, trusted compensation engine that strengthens financial visibility, eliminates risk, and enables leadership to confidently manage performance, cost, and growth in a dynamic business environment.

  • Partner closely with Sales FP&A to align compensation assumptions with revenue forecasts, financial plans, and expense targets, ensuring consistency across all planning and reporting processes
  • Provide executive-level insights that quantify tradeoffs between growth, cost, and operational capacity, enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions with full financial visibility

Compensation Design and Strategic Evolution

  • Continuously evaluate compensation plans to ensure alignment with business strategy, financial constraints, and operational realities while identifying opportunities to improve clarity and effectiveness
  • Support and prepare for future redesign cycles using performance data, financial modeling, and stakeholder alignment to enable effective plan evolution over time
  • Ensure incentive structures align with operational capacity, including supply constraints and product complexity, to drive sustainable and executable performance outcomes

Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics

  • Deploy AI-driven validation tools to detect anomalies, reduce errors, and ensure payout accuracy across all compensation cycles
  • Build predictive models that forecast commission expense, performance outcomes, and behavioral responses to compensation changes across different scenarios
  • Leverage advanced analytics to generate actionable insights that improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen governance, and enhance compensation effectiveness

Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep expertise in sales compensation governance, operations, and financial modeling with ability to manage commission expense forecasting, accruals, and performance analysis
