Pharmacy Technician, Data Entry Lead
Position Summary
The Data Entry Lead ensures accurate, efficient information flow and supports Empower Pharmacy’s mission by mentoring the team, monitoring performance, and driving operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors and reviews the performance of the Data Entry team to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Applies data management techniques to maintain efficient and accurate information flow within the team.
- Mentors new team members and collaborates with quality control to identify and address training needs.
- Works with team members to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish effective communication of expectations.
- Collaborates with supervisors and managers to achieve team goals and enforces company policies as necessary.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge and Skills
- Requires fast and accurate typing skills, familiarity with data programs, strong organizational abilities, and a proven track record of meeting Key Performance Indicators in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates leadership and motivational skills, attention to detail, ethical behavior, and excellent communication, with experience in coaching large teams preferred.

Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a data entry technician role preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and have a valid Certified Pharmacy Technician certification.
