Position SummaryThe Manager, Sales Training is a pivotal force in advancing the capabilities and performance of Empower’s Sales organization during a time of rapid growth and national expansion. By designing world-class training experiences, this leader ensures our representatives are equipped with the clinical knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement strategies required to thrive in a dynamic, highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape a best-in-class sales training function that not only drives immediate results but also builds long-term capability in service of our mission: delivering innovative, affordable medications to help 300 million people live healthier, happier lives.
Duties and Responsibilities- Designs and executes end-to-end training programs that accelerate new hire onboarding, deepen product knowledge, and advance sales effectiveness—ensuring all content is compliant, strategically aligned, and optimized for adult learners in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales Leadership, Product Management, Medical Affairs, and Compliance to transform complex clinical, regulatory, and operational information into engaging, accurate, and accessible learning experiences.
- Leverages AI-powered analytics, learner performance metrics, and field insights to continuously assess training effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and drive data-informed enhancements that improve knowledge retention and application in the field.
- Creates and maintains a scalable library of dynamic learning assets—including interactive eLearning modules, digital job aids, live workshops, and field coaching tools—that enable consistent development and reinforcement of key sales behaviors.
- Owns and manages a strategic training calendar that aligns with product launches, sales cycles, and evolving business priorities, ensuring the right training is delivered at the right time using modern learning technologies and enablement platforms.

Knowledge and Skills- Strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills with a passion for helping others grow, and a proven ability to build trust and collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources teams.
- Proficiency in instructional design, sales enablement platforms, learning management systems, and AI-powered training tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Training, Talent Development, or Sales Enablement, with demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-growth commercial organization.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, education, life sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP); Certified Sales Trainer (CST); Association for Talent Development (ATD) credentials; or Sandler/SPI/Challenger certifications.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
