Position SummaryOperational efficiency is the foundation of a high-performing organization, and this role is key to ensuring seamless execution, collaboration, and strategic alignment across all business functions. The Business Operations Specialist plays a critical role in streamlining workflows, enhancing operational processes, and driving cross-functional efficiencies that directly support the mission of expanding access to quality, affordable medication. This position contributes to a dynamic and growing pharmaceutical organization where innovation, problem-solving, and operational excellence create a lasting impact on patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities- Drives operational process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing scalable solutions to optimize business performance and regulatory compliance.
- Supports cross-functional collaboration by serving as a key liaison between departments, ensuring alignment, knowledge-sharing, and effective communication to enhance overall organizational success.
- Monitors and tracks key performance indicators, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership that enhance decision-making and business strategy execution.
- Develops and refines business continuity plans, proactively assessing risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring operational resilience across all locations.
- Leads process automation and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging technology, enterprise software tools, and analytics to improve productivity and streamline operations.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business operations, process improvement, or enterprise support within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry, with a demonstrated ability to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred; Project Management Professional certification strongly preferred; Certified Business Operations Professional certification preferred.
