Position SummaryThe IT Systems Implementation Principal is a strategic systems leader responsible for driving the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise technology solutions that power Empower’s growth. With a deep understanding of complex integrations, business-critical workflows, and vendor relationships, this role ensures that systems such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and human capital management (HCM) are implemented with precision, scalability, and measurable impact. Through expert-level architecture, contract negotiation, and a focus on digital transformation, the IT Systems Implementation Principal advances Empower’s mission to deliver innovative, affordable medication to 300 million people living healthier, happier lives.
Duties and Responsibilities- Leads the end-to-end implementation and integration of complex enterprise systems—including ERP, HCM, and related platforms—ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with business goals and operational priorities.
- Designs comprehensive system roadmaps, deployment plans, and optimization strategies that enable scalable, on-time, and on-budget delivery of high-impact technology initiatives.
- Serves as a subject matter expert throughout vendor selection, contract negotiation, and licensing discussions, ensuring long-term system compatibility, integration capability, and cost efficiency.
- Translates advanced business requirements into actionable technical architectures and integrated data workflows by partnering with functional teams across operations, finance, HR, and IT.
- Drives post-implementation excellence through performance monitoring, user enablement, and continuous improvement informed by system metrics, user feedback, and process analysis.
- Applies artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools to streamline complex workflows, enhance automation, and elevate data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Knowledge and Skills- Expertise in ERP system architecture, implementation lifecycle, vendor engagement, contract negotiation, and automation strategies, with the ability to apply AI-powered tools to solve high-impact operational challenges.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale solution design efforts, influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains, and deliver results in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise systems implementation, IT project leadership, or cross-platform technology integration, with a strong record of delivering business-critical solutions.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, with preferred expertise in enterprise platforms, workflow optimization, and digital transformation.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
