Position Summary

The Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in enabling Empower’s commercial and customer-facing teams by ensuring the Salesforce platform is optimized for accuracy, usability, and performance. By managing configurations, supporting integrations, and driving data integrity, this role empowers Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service to operate with clarity and speed. Through platform excellence and user-focused innovation, the Salesforce Administrator helps expand access to affordable, life-changing medication for 300 million people living healthier, happier lives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administers the Salesforce environment, supporting Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams, and managing platforms like Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Maps.
  • Performs essential administrative tasks, including user account maintenance, generating reports and dashboards, managing workflows, and resolving Salesforce issues and tickets.
  • Troubleshoots access issues, automation failures, error messages, and other system bugs to maintain seamless platform performance.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, implement enhancements, and align system updates with business objectives.
  • Conducts system audits, coordinates upgrades and new development requests, and provides user training to enhance Salesforce expertise across the organization.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools, core functionality, compliance for regulated industries, data migration, security settings, and AppExchange products, with experience in change management and process documentation.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Consultant, with hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is required, with Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builder certifications preferred. Additional certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist are highly desirable.
