Position Summary:

The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a pivotal role in Empower's dynamic, hyper-growth 503A/503B environment by driving impactful business insights and strategic financial planning. This position is responsible for owning financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, leveraging AI to enhance speed, scale, and decision-making quality. The role demands strategic thinking, execution rigor, and learning agility, to align with Empower's talent expectations. As a key contributor, the Senior FP&A Analyst ensures financial strategies are aligned with business objectives, delivering data-driven insights that support executive decision-making and sustained growth.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with Empower's growth objectives. Utilize AI tools to forecast revenue trends, optimize resource allocation, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance financial performance while mitigating risks.
  • AI Integration: Spearhead the integration of AI-driven analytics in financial processes to improve data accuracy, enhance reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making. Leverage technology to streamline workflows and increase the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Budget Oversight: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgetary frameworks that support strategic priorities and enhance financial stewardship.

Operational Excellence

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements that streamline financial operations and drive efficiency. Use AI to automate routine tasks, reduce manual errors, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. Utilize AI tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial performance and operational effectiveness. Leverage AI to enhance predictive analytics and inform data-driven strategies that support continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with organizational objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive financial planning and execution.
  • Leadership Development:  Foster a culture of learning and development with your team. Encourage the adoption of AI technologies and data-driven methodologies to enhance team capabilities and drive innovation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial insights that support strategic initiatives. Communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to facilitate informed decision-making.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced data analytics tools, including AI-driven platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial processes in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of strategic impact.
  • Expertise in using AI-driven analytics and financial technologies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in a high-growth, 503A/503B environment.
