Position SummaryThe Manager, Sales Development at Empower Pharmacy is a high-performance leader who builds, scales, and optimizes a results-driven sales development engine, ensuring continuous market expansion and revenue acceleration. This role is for a driven, strategic thinker who thrives on developing elite teams, executing precision-targeted prospecting strategies, and driving relentless pipeline growth through innovation and accountability. As the architect of Empower’s outbound sales strategy, you will inspire, challenge, and empower your team to break barriers, outperform expectations, and transform healthcare access through every conversation.
Duties and Responsibilities- Builds, develops, and leads a high-performance sales development team by recruiting top talent, implementing world-class training programs, and instilling a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement that drives aggressive pipeline growth.
- Designs and executes an elite-level outbound prospecting strategy, leveraging advanced sales analytics, artificial intelligence-driven automation, and real-time market intelligence to target high-value prospects and maximize conversion rates.
- Optimizes sales development operations and performance metrics, continuously monitoring outreach effectiveness, refining engagement tactics, and implementing scalable processes that accelerate lead generation, enhance pipeline velocity, and improve revenue impact.
- Aligns cross-functional sales strategies with marketing, account executives, and medical affairs, ensuring seamless lead handoff, coordinated messaging, and a data-backed approach that enhances client acquisition and long-term business growth.
- Drives a culture of resilience, execution, and results, motivating the team to exceed key performance indicators, overcome objections, and push past barriers with innovative problem-solving, strategic agility, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales development, outbound prospecting, or lead generation leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP), and Strategic Sales Leadership Certification (SSLC) to demonstrate expertise in outbound sales methodologies and team management, and a valid driver's license is required for field travel.
