The Website Developer (WordPress & artificial intelligence (AI) Integration) plays a strategic role in managing and evolving Empower Pharmacy's web presence through customized WordPress development and the integration of AI-powered tools. This position is responsible for both front-end and back-end development while exploring innovative AI technologies that enhance personalization, automation, and user experience. By fostering collaboration and leveraging innovative technologies, the Website Developer helps Empower Pharmacy deliver engaging digital experiences that support its mission to expand access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

• Develops, manages, and maintains the company’s WordPress-based website to ensure responsive design, security, and high performance across all platforms and devices.
• Designs and implements custom WordPress themes and plugins, integrating third-party tools and scalable architecture that supports evolving business requirements.
• Integrates AI-powered tools such as chatbots, recommendation engines, personalized content delivery, and dynamic search experiences to enhance engagement and efficiency.
• Optimizes the website for search engine optimization, mobile responsiveness, accessibility (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and load speed through technical best practices.
• Implements tracking and analytics solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Hotjar, and maintains thorough documentation for all custom code, workflows, and AI integrations.

• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to document business processes clearly.
• Demonstrated interest in applying modern digital tools and technologies to enhance web functionality, user experience, or automation, with basic proficiency in Power Business Intelligence (BI) and familiarity with Structured Query Language and modern analytics tools.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification (PL-300) preferred.
