Position Summary

At Empower, the Salesforce Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in transforming our customer relationship management strategies to better serve patients and healthcare providers. By designing innovative Salesforce solutions, this position directly contributes to our mission of producing innovative medications that help people live healthier, happier lives, and expanding access to quality, affordable medication. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Designs and implements scalable, high-performance Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other customer experience platforms, ensuring seamless integration, data consistency, and optimized system performance.
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Information Technology, to align Salesforce capabilities with business objectives, enhance customer engagement, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develops and enforces governance, security, and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies while maintaining system integrity and user trust.
  • Optimizes business processes by analyzing workflows, automating tasks, and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, and other Salesforce tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Manages the continuous improvement and innovation of the Salesforce ecosystem by evaluating emerging technologies, driving adoption of new features, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance customer experience and business value.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, and integration technologies such as Application Programming Interfaces and Extract, Transform, Load processes.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, Salesforce Object Query Language, continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, and a proven ability to integrate AI-powered solutions to enhance workflows and decision-making.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions, with a strong focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and customer experience systems, including at least 5 years in an architect or lead role. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or a Master’s degree preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM) certification required. Salesforce Certified Integration Architect, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (Sales Cloud), Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant (Service Cloud), Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1), and any other Salesforce-related certifications are preferred.
