Position SummaryBringing innovative medications to life requires precision, expertise, and an unyielding commitment to quality. As a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), this role drives the optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability. This position is a key force in advancing compounding operations, enhancing production capabilities, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to support the company’s mission of expanding access to quality, affordable medication.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develops, optimizes, and validates pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring robustness, compliance, and scalability to meet evolving production demands.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, improve yields, and enhance efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
- Leads technology transfer efforts for new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration from development to full-scale production while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Identifies and implements innovative process improvements, leveraging emerging technologies and lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous advancement in compounding operations.
- Champions a culture of operational excellence by proactively identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards to safeguard product integrity and patient well-being.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Knowledge and Skills- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in process validation, Good Manufacturing Practices, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies, with proficiency in software tools such as Statistical Analysis Software and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing science, or a related field within a highly regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment, with demonstrated expertise in process optimization and scale-up.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP); Professional Engineer (PE) License; Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
