The Senior Financial Analyst drives Empower’s financial strategy, leading budget planning and providing insights to support growth and efficiency. This role partners across teams to strengthen Empower’s mission of expanding access to affordable, innovative healthcare.

• Leads financial planning and forecasting by preparing budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term projections, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyzes financial performance and key metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
• Delivers concise financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and key performance indicators, with recommendations for effective decision-making.
• Partners with business leaders to offer financial guidance on strategic initiatives, capital investments, and cost-saving programs, supporting organizational growth.
• Develops and maintains advanced financial models, drives process improvements, and ensures compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Requires advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, strong analytics for complex data, and excellent communication to share insights with stakeholders; experience with Business Intelligence tools and financial planning software is a plus.
• Must be adaptable with strong project management skills, integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality work.

• Minimum of 5 years in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance, with a strong record of enhancing business performance and a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; Masters of Business Administration highly preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant) are highly preferred.
