Position Summary

The Salesforce Developer plays a key role in creating innovative and scalable solutions that enhance pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and customer service operations. This role empowers teams through automation, seamless integrations, and data-driven insights while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. By fostering collaboration and leveraging technology, the Salesforce Developer supports Empower Pharmacy’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Designs and implements customized solutions within Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to streamline pharmaceutical sales and service processes while developing automation and workflows that improve operational efficiency and enhance user experience.
  • Integrates Salesforce with internal and external business systems to ensure seamless data flow and real-time access to critical information, working with application programming interface development and middleware tools to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions while developing and maintaining technical documentation to support ongoing system enhancements.
  • Ensures data security, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act by implementing best practices for access controls, data governance, and user role management.
  • Leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-powered analytics to enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and improve system efficiency by implementing AI-driven automation for predictive insights and personalized user experiences.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into Salesforce workflows.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions, with expertise in customization, automation, and system integrations.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Salesforce Platform Developer II certification strongly preferred; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred; Salesforce JavaScript Developer I certification preferred.
