Position SummaryThe Manager, Technical Product is a dynamic leader dedicated to driving digital transformation that enhances patient and provider experiences. This role ensures the delivery of secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile and web applications while embodying Empower Pharmacy’s mission of innovation, service, and quality healthcare solutions. By fostering collaboration, embracing emerging technologies, and maintaining regulatory compliance, the Manager, Technical Product plays a crucial role in creating seamless and impactful digital interactions that inspire confidence and trust.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develops and maintains a strategic product roadmap for pharmacy-focused mobile and web applications, aligning product priorities with business objectives, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
- Leads the end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, development, testing, deployment, and iteration, ensuring product features align with market trends, regulatory requirements, and business goals.
- Defines technical requirements, Application Programming Interface integrations, and system architectures to support scalable, reliable applications while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure best practices in frontend and backend development.
- Partners with User Interface/User Experience teams to create intuitive digital experiences tailored to pharmacy workflows while engaging with patients, providers, and stakeholders to gather insights and optimize usability.
- Leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-powered analytics and data-driven insights to enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards.

Knowledge and Skills- Strong expertise in application programming interfaces, system integrations, and enterprise platforms, including cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, as well as modern technology stacks, with experience in healthcare workflows, compliance systems, and security standards such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing technical products, with a strong focus on mobile and web applications and a proven ability to drive product innovation in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field, with a Master of Business Administration or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
