Position SummaryThe Manager, Network & Telecom is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Empower Pharmacy’s network and telecommunications systems. This role ensures reliable connectivity, high availability, and security while aligning with operational needs and the industry’s best practices. By driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and ensuring quality service, the Manager enhances the organization’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure to support excellence in healthcare advocacy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Oversees network architecture, telecommunications systems, and infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and optimal performance while leading projects to enhance connectivity, reliability, and uptime.
- Manages network operations, troubleshooting, and support by implementing proactive monitoring, incident response measures, and performance optimization strategies to ensure seamless internal and external communications.
- Collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to implement advanced technology solutions, enhance system capabilities, and align infrastructure with operational needs and industry best practices.
- Develops and enforces robust network security policies to protect data integrity, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security controls.
- Drives innovation in network and telecommunications services by integrating artificial intelligence-driven analytics and automation to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and proactively resolve potential issues.

Knowledge and Skills- Possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to optimize network performance and security, along with experience managing cloud-based and on-premises systems.

- Requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in network and telecommunications management with expertise in enterprise infrastructure and a proven ability to lead and execute large-scale IT projects.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
