Position SummaryThe Director, Cybersecurity Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of cybersecurity operations to protect Empower Pharmacy’s critical systems and data. This role ensures the implementation of effective security strategies, rapid threat detection, and response capabilities to mitigate risks. By fostering collaboration and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the Director strengthens the organization's security posture while upholding our commitment to innovation, service, and quality in healthcare advocacy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develops and executes enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies that align with organizational goals, continuously enhancing security frameworks to protect critical assets from evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Leads the Security Operations Center and incident response processes by implementing advanced detection, analysis, and mitigation strategies, ensuring rapid containment of security incidents to minimize operational disruptions and business impact.
- Oversees vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and risk assessments by proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging security threats through continuous monitoring, predictive analytics, and industry best practices.
- Ensures strict compliance with industry regulations and security frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) by developing and enforcing robust policies, standards, and organization-wide security awareness programs.
- Drives innovation in cybersecurity operations by integrating AI-driven security analytics, machine learning-based threat detection, and automation to enhance response times, optimize risk management, and fortify the organization's overall security posture.

Knowledge and Skills- Possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with expertise in incident response, security operations, and compliance requirements, along with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
- Expertise in security operations, incident response, risk management, and compliance with NIST, SO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, with proficiency in cybersecurity tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and threat management.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including leadership roles in security monitoring, threat response, and risk management, with a strong ability to manage cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise security initiatives.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred for candidates pursuing senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
