Position Summary

The Supervisor, Account Intake ensures efficient onboarding for clients, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement to support Empower’s mission of providing quality, affordable medications. This role oversees intake operations and mentors the team to enhance processes and client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises and facilitates daily Account Intake functions, ensuring successful onboarding of accounts and clients while coaching and mentoring Account Intake Specialists.
  • Conducts due diligence reviews of registered accounts to provide coaching, retraining, and process improvement while implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborates with management and department leaders to monitor key performance indicators, improve team efficiencies, and maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Handles account escalations to retain customers, resolve issues, and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Provides employee training, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to support team growth and success.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and self-direct while effectively training and coaching others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, and Pharmacy Management systems like LifeFile and Post Key, with experience in data analysis and presentation.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in provider onboarding, intake, outbound call center or related healthcare administration experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, related experience, or healthcare certification/license preferred.
