Position SummaryThe Vice President of Sales Operations leads the optimization and scaling of Empower's sales infrastructure to drive growth and operational excellence. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), this role designs and manages systems, processes, and analytics to align sales strategies with execution, ensuring revenue targets are exceeded and customer value is delivered.
Duties and Responsibilities- Partners with the CSO to set long-term sales goals, operational benchmarks, and metrics, while developing and leading a strategic vision for sales operations that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
- Designs and implements streamlined sales processes to enhance productivity and consistency, eliminating operational inefficiencies through best practices and innovative solutions, while overseeing sales enablement programs to ensure the team has the tools, training, and resources for success.
- Manages and optimizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and sales technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration across marketing, finance, and operations, while evaluating and deploying new tools to enhance sales performance and insights.
- Builds and leads a high-performing sales operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, while mentoring and developing team members to achieve professional growth and deliver exceptional results.
- Monitors sales performance metrics, forecasts, and key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities, oversees a robust sales analytics framework for data-driven decision-making, and manages the sales operations budget to ensure effective resource allocation.

Knowledge and Skills- Proven success in scaling and optimizing sales organizations in a fast-paced, complex environment. Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and expertise in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a related field, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or other related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
