Position Summary

The Manager, Product Digital Transformation drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and support Empower Pharmacy’s commitment to quality service. This role collaborates across departments to implement best practices, optimize workflows, and ensure the successful execution of strategic projects. By fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and teamwork, the Manager, Product Digital Transformation plays a vital role in advancing operational performance and delivering impactful business results.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction by utilizing data-driven methodologies to identify opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Develops and executes digital transformation strategies that align with business goals, ensuring initiatives support growth, scalability, and long-term success.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and mentorship while facilitating workshops to educate teams on best practices and lean methodologies.
  • Leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-powered analytics to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and enhance reporting accuracy while integrating automation solutions to streamline project management and execution.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on expertise in workflow automation, analytics, and intelligent enterprise solutions.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy systems, QA testing, systems implementation, or IT project management with a proven ability to identify and resolve bugs and manage complex deployments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, with a strong foundation in technology-driven transformation and enterprise integration.
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacist required. Six Sigma Certification or preferred.
